Aim of Training: the purpose of this curriculum is let the students get familiar to the target language and basic skills of translation, for example, the students should not only obtain the ability of translation word by word, but also do excellent translation according to the style of the original text.
Main Courses: A practice translation course which can provide the students basic knowledge of the history and development of translation; Modern essay of China (English version), this can enable the students get familiar to the style of modern writers of China and help them understand better the regulation of Chinese language.
Length of Study:
A standard credit system is adopted for the undergraduate program. The standard length of study is 4 years. Admission only available in Fall Semester, opening in September. The exact opening date is available in Acceptance Letter.
Application requirements:
1. Non-Chinese citizens,
2. Senior high school graduates,
3. Over18 and under 40 years old, in good health, and with reliable financial support and custody.
4. HSK grade 3 or have one semester’s full-time Chinese training in Chinese university.
5. HSK grade 5 and one year’s full-time Chinese training in university may be enrolled as a sophomore, and with
6. HSK grade 6 and two years’ full-time Chinese training in university, enrolled as a junior, after passing an Entrance Examination provided by College of International Cultural Exchange.
