Itinerary
At 8:30 in the morning, start from the Guangdong CITS Building, and go to the “Zhaoqing Golden Channel Eco-tourism scenic spot”. Then travelers will watch the process of making paper in ancient way in the paper workshop. In the spot, deep valleys and numerous waterfalls scatter around, sharp cliffs and lush woods are surrounded by crystal clean waters. Along the journey tourists can take part in various exciting programs, such as the ropewalking, etc. After having lunch on the top of the mountain, travelers will call on the mysterious village in Gaoyao, namely the Eight Diagrams Village in Huilong Town. Observing from the sky, the houses form into circles in orderness and with beautiful designing, quite like a hat. These houses are built beside mountains and rivers, and have peculiar styles. The major feature of the village is “regard water as connection”, "consider house as the wall”, and “regard stone as foundation”. Travelers can also get to know more about Confucius, the famous scholar in ancient China, and learn his theories in education. Afterwards, tourists will visit the traditional Zongzi Workshop. Then return to Guangzhou by bus.
