| Recommended reason | The School of The Business in Central South University is developing rapidly during recent years,We have established a first-level post-doctoral scientific research flow station in Management Science & Engineering, a first-level Ph. D.program of Management Science & Engineering,6 second-level doctoral programs(including self-owned), 20 Master Programs (including MBA and MPA),7 undergraduate programs.
Currently more than 5000 doctoral, MBA, graduate and undergraduate students are studying in the school. Our business school has an outstanding faculty of 148 members, including one Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 32 professors (21 doctoral advisors), 37 associate professors. Under the School there are several research and teaching centers/institutes, namely, Nanfang Securities & Futures Research Center, the research center of Small & Medium Sized Enterprises, Finance Innovation Research Center, Editorial Department of Journal CSU(mainly including the aspects of society science), and Industrial Finance & Accounting Journal. The research and teaching facilities of our school is also very advanced, we have our own library with a rich collection of more than 60,000 books and 340 magazines & journals for both the faculty and students. Library has very convenient connection to the resources all over the world through internet.We also have 19 labs, Multimedia Rooms and Case Discussion Rooms for teaching and scientific research purpose. The computer and video equipment are advanced in the country.
Our school has established extensive and substantial ties with many famous universities in Europe, America and Asia. Every year, the school invites more than 20 overseas professors for lecturing on the campus and sends about 30 professors and young faculty members abroad on lecture tours or further studies. It has also held a series of international conferences, such as International Symposium of Asian Science & Technology and social Developmant, Symposium of Development strategy of Information Management between mainland china & Taiwan.Symposium of Development Strategy for Small & Medium Sized Enterprises. The Business School has also achieved great results in research field, every year it takes up various national, ministry and province level research projects, institution-enterprise cooperation projects. Our teachers have published a total of several hundered papers in many important core international and domestic journals, and received numerous national, ministry and province level progress awards. Many large domestic and international corporations have set up scholarships in the school, such as original Shenzhen Merchandize Exchange(SME) Scholarship, Tang Ren Shen Scholarship etc.We have a very close relationship with many large domestic and international corporations, and established Unitrust Management Consulting Co. Ltd. Facing the future, the faculty and staff of our school are taking efforts to make contribution to the economic construction of our country and make our business school one of the best business schools in the country and the world.
