Day 2 Sera Monastery, Norbulingka and Drepung Monastery

Today you visit two most significant temples inTibet—Sera Monastery and the Drepung Monastery. The guide will then take you to Norbulingka which is known as theSummerPalaceinTibet. Dalai Lama used to work at Norbulinka during summer in ancient times.
Day 3 ThePotalaPalace,Barkhor StreetandJokhangTemple

ThePotalaPalacecontains a 1000 years of history and a symbol ofTibetwhileJokhangTempleis said to be the soul ofLhasa. A walk on Barkhor Street provides a great opportunity to see the locals engaged in daily life and also great place for buying local souvenirs.
Day 4 Palcho Monastery andYomdrokLake

Today you will move to Shigatse and stay at Shigatse Hotel for 1 night. Visit Palcho Monastery which has a unique Tibetan style and long history. The elegant murals are preserved well. Then head to Yomdrok Lake, which is one of the threeHolyLakesinTibetand one of the most beautiful.
Day 5 Tashilunpo Monastery

Accommodation: Dingri Zhufeng Hotel
Continue your trip to see Tashilunpo Monastery, which the biggest temple in Shigatse area. It is the highlight today.
Day 6 Mt.Everest Camp and Rongbuk Monastery

Today is the day you have been waiting for! You will finallyseeMt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world. The trip will be coupled with a visit to Rongbuk Monastery, which is the highest temple in the world and has stunning and unique views.
Day 7 Shigatse

Today you will go back toLhasaafter having lunch in Shigatse. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.
