The economical history and cultural research institute was established in June, 2007.It is a learning organization incorporating scientific research and teaching into an integral whole. And it mainly concentrates efforts on teaching and scientific research in China-foreign economy history and economy thought history. There are 4 full professors and many part-time research fellows. Present bureau chief is professor Shi jigang.
