President
Scholarship (PS) is established to encourage and support excellent foreign
students to pursue degrees at Lanzhou University of Technology. PS covers
tuition fees fully or partially. Living allowance is also supported by PS.
1. Award Quota: 20students/year
2. Application time: applications are accepted from March to June.
3. Standard
First
prize: 100% tuition free of one academic year;
Second
prize: 70% tuition free of one academic year;
Third
prize: 50% tuition free of one academic year;
Those who
get the President Scholarship will be awarded 5,000 Yuan living allowance (500Yuan/month
for ten months).
4. Requirements
= 1 \* roman i.Applicants should be Non-Chinese
citizens, have a valid foreign passport, good health, good conduct, comply with
Chinese government laws, rules and regulations of the university.
= 2 \* roman ii.Students who apply bachelor
degree must be less than 25 years old; master degree less than 35 years old; doctoral
degree less than 35 years old.
= 3 \* roman iii.New students can apply the
scholarship with HSK4 (bachelor degree) or HSK5 (master degree and doctoral
degree).
= 4 \* roman iv.Study-in students can apply the
first prize if his/her average scores are no less than 80 while each course is
no less than 75; for second prize, the average scores should be no less than 75
while each course should be no less than 70; for third prize, the average scores
should be no less than 70 while each course should be no less than 65.

6. Procedure
The
scholarship is applicable on a yearly basis. Applicants should send all the
application materials to School of International Education before 15th, June.
Study-in students who have been granted PS scholarship are requested to
complete the annual review of the scholarship.
7. Admission
Qualified
students will receive their Admission Notice of Lanzhou University of
Technology and Visa Application for Study in China (JW202) in July. Please note
that you must register at Lanzhou University of Technology within the time
period stated in the Admission Notice. Otherwise, you will be regarded as
giving up this admission.
