I. Application
Any foreigner who would like to study at Nanjing Audit University and meets the requirements stipulated as below can submit application to the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (ICE Office). Applicants can also download the application form from homepage of Nanjing Audit University (http://ice.nau.edu.cn/col1019/index.htm1?id=1019#5).
(I) Qualification for Applicants
1. All applicants should be a physically healthy who would like to observe all laws (items) and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and bylaws of NAU of his or her own free will.
2. All applicants should be qualified in educational background. Applicants for undergraduate programs should have completed a senior high school education.
3. All applicants should hold an HSK4 certificate or pass the equivalent language examination of NAU. Applicants without proper qualification in Chinese language are required to register in preparatory courses in Department of Teach Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL) before enrolled in undergraduate programs.
4. All applicants are required to obtain a HSK6 certificate and achieve requested standards of NAU before the undergraduate degree is granted.
5. All applicants for undergraduate programs should be under forty years old.
(II) Material to be provided
1. Original and one photocopy of The Application Form for International Students Studying at NAU.
2. Original and one photocopy of latest academic diploma.
3. Original certificate and one photocopy ofChinese Language level
4. One photocopy of passport.
5. Eight passport photos.
(III) Commencement Date
The academic year starts in September, which is also the beginning of the fall semester. Application ought to be submitted to ICE before the academic year.
II. Entrance examination and Enrollment
1. All application materials should be submitted to the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (ICE Office) via post mail or E-mail before the deadline. ICE Office will forward relevant materials to the Deans’ Office and the School or Department the applicant applies for.
2. Applicants will be evaluated by NAU according to the submitted materials. Admission Notice and Visa Application for Study in China (JW202) will be offered by the ICE Office. Unaccepted application will be notified through E-mails.
3. Applicants without proper qualification in Chinese language could enter China with “L” visa to take the language examination of NAU. Eligible applicants will be offered Admission Notice. Applicants fail to pass the examination will be provided with the opportunity to register in preparatory language courses of TCFL Depatment.
III. Register
1. Accepted applicant should carry his/her passport, Admission Notice issued by NAU, Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (valid in 6 months) and JW202 Form to fulfill the entry procedure and pay required fees before the deadline at the ICE Office of NAU. Within 30 days from the date of entry into China, the applicant should apply for a residence permit with an X visa. Those who can’t register in due time are required to present a written leave report in advance.
2. International students are required to register to ICE Office and pay the fees and tuition at the Financial Department before school starts.
