Electronic Business

To train specialized personnel fully developed morally, intellectually and physically, who have the knowledge of computer network, electronic business, economic management, law, investment and, etc., and are qualified to do electronic business planning and designing, actually operate and manage in enterprises, undertaking units and governments, and do teaching and scientific study.

The students of the major are to mainly learn the basic knowledge and theory of Electronic Business and management, receive the basic training in Electronic Business and management and be qualified to operate, design Electronic Business workflow and manage Electronic Business operation.

Eligibility and File Requirements:

The graduates of this major must have the following knowledge and ability:

Master the basic theory and knowledge of E-economics, management science, and economics;

Mastering the basic knowledge on planning, designing, programming, operating and managing workflow of Electronic Business;

Have strong ability in oral and written language, communication, obtaining information and solving problems in Electronic Business;

Be familiar with the laws, agreements and policies related with Electronic Business operation.

Knowing the latest theory and development trend of Electronic Business;
Master the basic method of information retrieval and having the capacities to do research and practical work;

Meet the basic requirements of the College English Curriculum for Trial Implementation;

Pass Band One Computer Test for College Students of Non-computer Majors in Jiangsu Province.

Application procedure

1.Applicants lodge their applications including 250YuanRMB application fee with School for Overseas Students, Soochow University.

2.Soochow University makes the assessment of the applications and sends the qualified applicants the " JW202 Form","Admission Notice" and the "Physical Examination Record of Foreigners".

3.Applicants go to Chinese embassy or consulate in their home country to obtain visa and make travel arrangements.

4.Applicants arrive and register as required in the "Admission Notice".
