Length of Study: 2 years for full time program; 3-5 years for part-time program
Application requirements:
1). Have obtained a bachelor degree from a university recognized by this university; or
2). Have an education equal to junior college in the mainland of China, have had two years' working experience and certain research achievements; or
3) have met the conditions required by the relevant department, college or tutor.

Major: Linguistics and Applied Linguistics (Currently this course has two overseas teaching locations. One has been established at the T.E.D. Huaxia Institution, Singapore and another is at the Chinese Language Education and Research Center in California, USA.)
Specializations: Teaching Chinese as a Foreign/Second Language and Overseas Chinese Education, Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, Style and Linguistic Stylistics, Psycholinguistics.
Subjects assessed in Entrance Examination:
1. English or Japanese; 2.Introducation to Linguistic; 3.Modern Chinese A; 4. Chinese Culture and Composition (Only after the first 3 exams are successfully completed.)
