Recently, Opening ceremony of Animation program jointed venture by University of Quebec& Tianjin University of Technology was held at Wangdingdi campus. Vice President Zhang Hua from TJUT, Suzanne from national Animation center of University of Quebec were present at the ceremony, principals in charge of teaching affairs office, international exchange office, the principal person in charge of the school of art including all the students and faculty attended.
The 2012 Sino-Canadian jointed animation program enrolled 79 graduates, it is another act that our unversity introduces high quality foreign educational resources and cultivate talents processing internatinal outlook. The program brings in excellent teachers and education system from University of Quebec at Chicoutimi “National Animation and Design Center”. On the basic of the system, Teachers of China and Canada made a new training program according to our nation’s situation, the course will be taught by teacher of both parties, seeing the latest knowledge and abilities demand that contemporary media industry have for talents in that filed. Students who complete required courses and pass that examination will be awarded cerfificate of graudation by the two universites together,for those who are qualified and who hope to further their study, they will be sent to study in Canada Animation Training Center according to relevant requirements.
In 20 years eucdcation, “The National Animation and Design Centre” of University of Quebec developed best talents in 3D animation, 3D animated film,television, special effects and 3D video game for Canada, an edcation authority in 3D animation, visual effect, meida art, Film and TV Postproduction filed. The center possesses strongest teachers resources, most of its teachers have both profound theoretical basis and rich experience in education practice, can be called the filed’s senior experts.
On the opening ceremony, Ms. Suzanne, director of The National Animation and Design Centre delivered warm speeches. She said, in the next 4 years, we and TJUT will have developed 79 new gradauates. My respected students, you will be the first! You can say it proudly, “ I am part of the N0.1”. Vice president of TJUT said in his speech that he hope both parties can prodve students with wider study and communication platform under the premiss that both parties share adademic achievement.
