USTC Fellowship is established for international graduate students to study at University of Science and Technology of China. USTC Fellowship has two categories as USTC Fellowship A and USTC Fellowship B. USTC Fellowship A is designed for degree seeking students, while USTC Fellowship B for exchange students from partner universities.
USTC Fellowship A covers tuition, registration fee, housing, as well as 1700 RMB per month allowance for master’s students or 2000 RMB per month allowance for doctoral students. USTC Fellowship B covers 1500 RMB per month allowance and 900 RMB per month for housing.
Requirements for USTC Fellowship A applicants: USTC professor’s acceptance letter, bachelor’s degree certificate for master’s degree seeking students at the age under 40, or master’s degree certificate for doctoral degree seeking students at the age under 45.
Requirements for USTC Fellowship B applicants: exchange students from USTC partner universities, non-Chinese citizenship, recommendation from USTC professor and partner university professor.

2. Copy of degree certificate
3. Transcripts
4. Study plan
5. For degree seeking students, acceptance letter from USTC professor, and one recommendation letter from a professor outside; for exchange students, two recommendation letters, including one from USTC professor.
