Located in Wuning City of Hainan Island and covering an area of 400,000 square meters, Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden is almost perfect for plants to grow; now the botanical garden does not only an important agricultural base, but also a famous tourism resort. Regarded as the “tropical plants encyclopedia", it is famous for the unique tropical plants. Tropical cash crops, trees, and garden plants, wild plants, even wild rare species, and rare tropical plants introduced from abroad can be seen here.

There are five major districts in the botanic garden: Plants Area, Experiment and Demonstration Area, Technology Innovation Area, Stereo effect Planting Area and Ecological leisure Area. The botanic garden is near the green mountains and surrounded by lakes. So fresh air and the ecology will refresh you and make you energetic again. In the botanic garden, visitors can admire the plants, fishing by lakes, do research or promote agricultural education. It aims to provide fun as well as practice for visitors.

The Garden gives tourists a panorama view of many kinds of Tropical plants and trees in the island as Hainan Island lies in the tropical climate zone. It is one of the most popular tourists’ attractions on Hainan Island.
