On 19th November,Prof. Glen S. LeRo, pricipal of Lawrence Technological University college of architecture, and Prof. Wang Xu of department of architecture visited North China University of Technology, discussed about double degree plan of relevant bachelors-masters degrees program with North China University of Technology college of constructional engineering and college of fine art, and reached primary cooperative intention of carrying out “3+2” joint education in majors such as architecture, urban and rural planing, landscape design, art design and so on.
According to the double-degree programs plan, sutdents in North China University of Technology can go on with art design study and master programs study in Lawrence Technological University after finish their bachelor programs, and they will get both master degree of Lawrence Technological University and master degree of China University of Technology, thus makiing the students possess global perspective and competive advatages in jub hunting. The two parties decided to sign the agreement at the beginning of 2013, and put the plan in to effect on autumn semester.
On the basis of this cooperation, college of constructional engineering and college of fine art establishes cooperation in educational internationalization and exchange, shares information and rescourse, so as to jointly improve education quality and level.
