Guideline to the University


1. Pick-up service. The university offer paid pickup service, just send the teacher your flight details in advance, they will arrange the pick up for you, it costs around 280RMB.

2. You can go to the university by taxi directly, here's the address， you can show it to the taxi driver directly:

Accommodation fee:


International students will have access to a wide range of on campus services including sports facilities, entertainment, cafeterias, supermarket, bank , post office, wifi, etc.

SDUST offers on-campus accommodation with facilities including internet, desk, closet, toilet, shower, public kitchen and washing machine, etc.

Room rate:
Single room is 13000RMB/2010USD per year
Double room is 7500RMB/1160USD per year
Triple Room is 4400RMB/680USD per year
Quad Room is 3300RMB/510USD per year.

第一步 入住及临时住宿登记
Step1
Accommodation Check-in and Temporary Residence Registration
交验护照，房间入住，老师为新生在当地公安局办理临时住宿登记——GA19/21留学生公寓管理办公室，马老师
Passport inspection by Ms. Ma inDuty Room, GA19/21(International Student’s Dorm Building) is required before accommodation check-in. Faculty members will assist new students in temporary residence registration in the local police station.

 
第二步 信息确认

Conform Information
录取通知书、JW202/201、护照等材料——国际交流合作处（108室），许老师、王老师Submit admission notice, JW202/201 form and passport to Ms. Xu in Room 108, International Office.


第三步 体检
Step3
Physical Examination
护照及复印件、照片、体检报告原件（如果有）、体检费700元——GA19/21留学生公寓管理办公室，许老师Take physical examination within 7days upon arrival at the university. Passport and the copy, 4 two-inch photos, original copy of checkup report (if possible),650RMB for checkup fee are needed.
 

第四步 费用缴纳

Tuition and Fees Payment
注册费、学费、住宿费、保险费(到校一周内交齐)——108，张老师
Contact Mr. Zhang in Room 108, International Office to pay registration fee, tuition, accommodation fee and insurance fee within one week upon arrival at the univeristy.


第五步 卡证办理及网络申请

Campus Card and Internet Access
 
护照、15元卡费——108，校园卡办公室，许老师、王老师
Go to Room 108, International Office with passport, 15  RMB, which is for the campus card fee, and contact Ms. Xu  for Campus Card application.

第六步 课程安排

Program Schedule
 
领取课程表、汉语教材等——413，何老师
Get class arrangement, timetable and textbooks from Room 413, International Office. Personnel in charge: Ms. He


第七步 签证延期
Step7
Visa Extension
护照、体检报告、400元延期申请费，入境后20日内完成居留许可延期手续——108，许老师、王老师
Residence Permit Extension must be done within 20 days upon entry. Passport and Physical Examination Result Report are required.

 

Note:
1、Students holding X1 Visa have to follow all the above procedures; students holding X2 Visa have to follow all the procedures except for Step 3 &7.
2、The things you should take for physical examination
your passport and its copy ,visa copy,
Four photos of two inch (white background),
The body exam fee (about 700 RMB,this is for all types you have to take),
Original check result from your country (If you have).
 
The way to the hospital(Shandong International Travel Health-care, 山东出入境检验检疫局国际旅行卫生保健中心)
When you go there:
1.go to north gate and take the NO.6 bus,change the bus NO.1 at gang tou li station or show this to the driver:
 我要坐隧道一路公交车，请您在我要下的站点提醒我一下（港头李）
2.after you get on the NO.1 bus ,get off  at Qingdao train station or show  this to the driver:
 我要在火车站下车，请您提醒我一下好吗？谢谢！
3.Then you can take a taxi ,go to fu zhou nan road NO.85 show this to him.
  我要去福州南路85号（工商大楼）福州南路与江西路交界处，山东出入境检验检疫局国际旅行卫生保健中心，谢谢！
After finish the body exam:
1.take a taxi to NO.1bus station ,show this to the driver:
  我要去大窑沟坐隧道1路请把我送到大窑沟隧道1路公交站牌处，谢谢！
2.After you get on the NO.1bus,you just wait for the terminal station (gang tou l )and change NO.6bus
  我要转乘6路公交车去山东科技大学，请在我要下的站点（港头李）提醒我一下，谢谢！
3.After you get on the NO.6 bus , get off  at shan dong ke ji da xue station or show this to the driver
  我要到山东科技大学，请在山东科技大学站点提醒我一下，谢谢！
 IT WILL SPEND ONE AND HALF HOUR FOR GETING THERE AND THE HOSPITAL JUST OPEN BEFORE 11AM,SO SHOULD START AT 7:00AM (MONDAY TO FRIDAY)FROM FOREINER APARTMENT.
