Yan lan receives french's legion of honor
On November 1, French Ambassador Sylvie-Agnès Bermann presented on behalf of French
government the National Order of the Legion of Honor to Yan Lan, President of Lazard
China, for her contributions to the Women’s Forum, to the promotion of Asian women’s
rights and interests, and to the communications between China and French in economy
and law. Ms. Yan studies French at Beijing Foreign Studies University during 1977
through 1981.
