European languages&cultures celebrates 10th anniversary of finnish program
On October 26, the School of European Languages and Cultures at Beijing Foreign
Studies University celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Finnish program.
Vice President Zhong Meisun, Press and Cultural Counselor Mikko Puustinen from Embassy
of Finland in Beijing, and Professor Yu Zhiyuan the founder of the program delivered
commencement speeches, reviewing the decade achievements of the program and expressing
their expectations on Finnish majors.
Scholars and experts from the State Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Academy
of Social Sciences, the BFSU, International Exchange Center of Finland Ministry
of Education, and Japanese Research Center on Finland Culture discussed extensive
topics about literature, history, and education. And students of Class 2010 performed
excellent art show for the guests.
