Day by Day Itinerary
 
Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.
 
Day 2 Beijing
Morning:
Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.
Afternoon:
Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.
Evening:
After dinner a fascinating Peking Opera Show will be presented to you at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day 3 Beijing
Morning:
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance.
Afternoon:
Continue to the Ming Tombs, which due to their enormity took over 200 years to complete.
Evening:
Dinner is served at the original, century-old Quanjude Roasted Duck Restaurant. (B+L+D)
 
Day 4 Beijing to Luoyang
Explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest.
Evening:
Transfer to the rail station for your train to Luoyang, which is the start point of Silk Road.

Day 5 Luoyang
Morning:
A half-day tour to the Longmen Grottoes is regarded as one of the most famous treasure houses of stone inscriptions in China.
Afternoon:
Visit the Guanlin Temple, which is called General Guan's Tomb as well.

Day 6 Luoyang to Dengfeng to Luoyang
A full-day visit to Shaolin Temple. It will take you about 3 hours to the Shaolin Temple by private car, which is the cradle of the Shaolin Martial Arts. Back to Luoyang in the afternoon.

Day 7 Luoyang to Xian
Morning:
Visit the White Horse Temple that is believed to be the first Buddhist temple built by the government in China.
Evening:
Transfer to the railway station for your train to Luoyang, which is China's ancient capital.

Day 8 Xian
Morning:
Full day visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors where life-sized infantrymen, archer, officers and their horses symbolically guard the tomb of the first Qin Emperor.
Afternoon:
Followed by the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which is an important cultural relic and one of the remaining symbols of Xian.

Day 9 Xian
Morning:
City tour includes the Shannxi History Museum where you will discover how Xian became the cradle of Chinese culture.
Afternoon:
Visit the city Wall that still compasses the center of Xian.
Evening:
After dinner you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 10 Xian to Beijing
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Continue the flight to your homeland. Alternatively, extend your stay.
