Day by Day Itinerary  
 
Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.
 
Day 2 Beijing to Lhasa (B)
Morning: Transfer to take the flight to Lhasa. When you arrive at the airport and meet guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Lhasa with 1.5 hours drive.
 
Afternoon: For the rest of the day you will be at leisure for acclimatization or visit local bazaar on your own.
 
Day 3 Lhasa (B+L)
Morning: Guided sightseeing with the Lhasa's cardinal landmark-Potala Palace. This massive 13-soreyed building used to be the highest building prior to the early period of last century, used to be the former winter abode for the Dalai Lamas. It looks incredibly magnificent from a distance and could be viewed from various places around the town. As the nation's supreme relic, the palace dates back to 7th century A.D.
 
Afternoon: Continued Drepung Monastery is the largest monastery in Tibet and lies in the west of Lhasa.
 
Day 4 Lhasa (B+L)
Morning: Guided sightseeing of the most revered religious structure in Jokhang Temple. Jokhang, the most sacred temple in Tibet, refers to “Buddha's House” in Tibetan language because the main statue enshrined which said to be made by Buddha Sakyamuni himself in his lifetime. The surrounding market is called Barkhor, one of the most important religious paths, which also assembles people for shopping.
 
Afternoon: Visit of Norbulingkha, the summer palace of the Dalailama.
 
Day 5 Lhasa (B+L)
Morning: You will visit a Tibetan family. The Tibetan builds their houses by wood with big sitting room and Buddhism hall. You can taste Tibetan specialties of yak butter tea, local yogurt and Tibetan barley.
 
Afternoon: You will be free for the rest of the day.
 
Day 6 Lhasa to Chengdu (B+L)
Morning: Transfer to airport for the flight back to Chengdu, Which is the capital city in Sichuan Province, known as the home of the giant panda.
 
Afternoon: Visit the Chengdu Zoo where visitors can observe pandas. Continued the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu who was a very famous poet, lived in the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
 
Day 7 Chengdu to Beijing (B)
Morning: Visit the Wangjiang Tower Park that is one of three famous cultural relics in Chengdu. Followed by the Provincial Museum.
 
Afternoon: Transfer to take the flight to Beijing and continue for the flight to your homeland. Alternatively, extend your stay.
