Detailed itinerary
Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.
 
Day 2 Beijing
Morning:
Take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world.
 
Afternoon:
Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.
 
Evening:
Dinner is served at the original, century-old Quanjude Roasted Duck Restaurant. After dinner you will enjoy a fascinating Peking Opera Show at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day 3 Beijing
Morning:
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance.
 
Afternoon:
Continue to the Ming Tomb, which due to their enormity took over 200 years to complete.

Day 4 Beijing to Jiuzhaigou
Morning:
Explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest.
 
Afternoon:
You will be transferred to the hotel for a three-night stay on a room and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 5 Jiuzhaigou
It will take you a full day to visit to the Jiuzhaigou Valley, which is a great masterpiece of nature. It combines azure lakes, waterfalls, verdant forests, and snow-covered mountains.

Day 6 Jiuzhaigou to Huanglongto Jiuzhaigou
Have a full day visit to the Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area, which is well known as 'Fairy Land on Earth', along the valley are scattering colorful ponds of different sizes and shapes.

Day 7 Jiuzhaigou to Chengdu
Morning:
Transfer to take the flight to Chengdu, which is the capital city of Sichuan. Sichuan is known as the home of the giant panda, eighty percent of which live in this province.
 
Afternoon:
Visit the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center where is visitors can observe pandas at close range. Continue the Wuhou Memorial Temple, one of the state-preserved cultural relics.

Day 8 Chengdu to Guilin
Morning:
Transfer to take your flight to Guilin.
 
Afternoon:
Upon arrival, meet the guide and visit historic Fubo Hill and the Reed Flute Cave- a 790 feet deep dripstone cave which includes myriads of stalactites and stalagmites of dazzling colors.

Day 9 Guilin from Yangshuo to Guilin
Today take a scenic river cruise along the Li River with its peaceful senerity and jagged limestone peaks. Lunch is included on board before arriving at Yangshuo where you have free time to explore and peruse the local shops and markets. Continue to take the private vehicle back to Guilin.

Day 10 Guilin to Shanghai
Morning:
Transfer and take the flight to Shanghai.
 
Afternoon:
Visit the Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured. Pass through the old town and take a walk along the famous waterfront to fully appreciate this diverse city.

Day 11 Shanghai
Morning:
Visit the Shanghai Museum with its collection of ancient Chinese Art of bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy.
 
Afternoon:
Continue the Yu Garden, which has over 30 pavilions, linked by a maze of corridors and bridges.
 
Evening:
You will enjoy an acrobatic show at the Portman Ritz-Calton Hotel for your entertainment.

Day 12 Shanghai
Transfer to airport for the flight to your homeland. Alternatively, extend your stay.
