Chongqing New Century Cruises Co., Ltd. was founded in 1997, named Chongqing New Century Cruises Ltd. It reshuffled its system, thus Chongqing New Century Cruises Co., Ltd. came into being. It has been authorized by National Transportation Department as one of the cruises corporations specialized in traveling transportation involved in foreign affairs. It is also a member of China Tourism Automobile and Cruise Association.
CNCC has a registration fund of 44.5 million RMB. More than 500 employees are working within the group. In 2003, CNCC commenced a strategic cooperative relation with a top-ranking freshwater cruise enterprise - Viking River Cruises according to the broadly-accepted conventions in international market, and formed its unique running model. In September, 2007, CNCC established strategic relationship with Nicko Tours from Germany which held a great share in German market, and then continued to enhance its strength.
For now, CNCC possesses the hugest and most splendid series of cruises in the world history of freshwater shipment – “Century Star”, "entury Emperor”, "entury Resplendence”, they are all built on the basis of the latest standard in related field, and the fourth 5 star cruise – Century Diamond had finished its first voyage in august, 2008.
CNCC is the member of “Top 20 international tourism institutions in China” as well as “Top 5 international tourism institutions in Chongqing”; it is the exclusive cooperative partner with Viking River Cruises.
The main services and operations of CNCC include: running and selling its series of luxurious cruises; it’s the deputy of all the luxurious cruises and domestic cruises in the 3 gorges of Yangtze River; in charge of organizing traveling affairs in China for the foreign visitors; in charge of the reception for domestic tourists in three gorges of Yangtze River and southwestern areas; organizing outbound and domestic tourism for Chinese citizens while deputizing for selling tickets of trains and planes. CNCC are also involved in the services of charter flights, business conference and other new domains to realize the diversified development.
