D1 Beijing

Arrive at Beijing International Airport. Meet your guide and driver and check in your hotel. The rest of today is free for you.

D2 Beijing

Morning visit at Tian’anmen Square, which is the capital city centre. Many key events affecting the whole country even the world happened here. Then you will make your way to Forbidden City, where the Emperors used to live and use your imagination when considering the life of one man and his many wives enclosed in the largest quadrangle in the world!Then, we offer you with the Tricycle Hutong tour to experience the daily life of Beijing residents, seeing the children in a kindergarten and climbing on the Bell Tower

You will have Chinese dumpling lunch with other local dishes cooked by the housewife at a quadrangle. As for dinner, you will have a welcome dinner, the most famous meal in BeijingBeijing Duck Dinner. At night, you will enjoy the exciting Chinese Acrobatic Show.

D3 Beijing

In the morning, your local guide and private driver will meet you in the hotel lobby, and take you to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. 2 hours’ driving will take you to this comparatively quiet section.

At this location, the Great Wall was built on steep mountains, yet don’t worry, there is a cable car running up the wall directly. If you walk more than half hour on the Wall, you will arrive at the part named “Wild Wall” that haven’t been restored for more than 500 years.

On the way back to the city, you will have a chance to take a short visit of the Olympic Stadium, nicknamed "Bird’s Nest" and the National Aquatic Centre, also known as the "Water Cube."

D4 Beijing/Xi’an

Fly to Xi’an. Xi’an is claimed to be “Museum City”. You will be able to visit the Shannxi Historic Museum, one of the best museums in China, with collections from 1.7 million years ago.

Your next stop will be at the symbol of Xi’an, Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists.

As for the dinner, you will be able to enjoy the Special Dumplings Dinner --to taste more than10 types of different dumplings. After the dinner, you can enjoy a Tang Dynasty Performance, a veritable Tang dynasty show, reminding you the most prosperous empire 1400 year ago.

D5 Xi’an

In the morning you will visit a prehistoric settlement at Banpo, to see the early settlements’ life. Then you will visit the highlight of Xi’an trip-- the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. You will take a gold cart to the site instead of walking.

In the afternoon you will be driven to the Great Mosque, established in AD742 for Muslim traders from Central Asia who settled in Xi’an, which is still an active place of worship in the present.

Tonight, if you like, you will enjoy a special treatment—Chinese herbs feet massageoptional, RMB150/p/60min, to relax your sore feet from a whole day walk, and give you a good sleep. Try it! You will be indulged in it!

D6 Xi’an/Shanghai

Today the tour guide will take you to Xi’an City Wall, the best preserved city wall in China. Then fly to Shanghai. You will have a half day walking tour to the small alleys to spot refurbished tenement homes with doors framed with large stone (Shi ku men).

A few minutes walking will take you to the 1st National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, a Marxist exhibit of heroic red and gold proportions. Then you will pass through some teahouses, bars and restaurants, French Park as well as the St. Nicholas Church. Just a few blocks away is the Old Residence of Zhou Enlai, the former premier of China in 1949, and the home of Sun Yat-sen, the hero of China’s 1911 revolution. Both residences are good examples of residential buildings of the period-short and squat Shikumens hidden in twisty alleyways. Of all the sights evocative of the splendor and decadence of old Shanghai, none is singularly more impressive than the Bund.You will have a cruise tour and enjoy the night view along the Bund.

D7 Shanghai

In the morning, you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple and Yu Garden.Outside of the Yu Garden is the Old Town which displays the vibrancy of traditional Shanghai street life. 

After lunch you will be driven to Shanghai Museum. Telling you the history how this metropolis developed from a pimping village in the last century. Following is your free time in Nanjing Road, the No.1 shopping road in China, where you can purchase what you want.
