Day by day itinerary
Day 1
Leave Guangzhou for Urumqi by plane.
Day 2
Go to Turfan in the morning, which is called “the land of fire”. Visit the biggest wind power plant of China-----Dabancheng Power plant. Appreciate the beautiful sceneries of salty lake. Then visit the Jiaohe Ancient Town, which is the economic and culture center of the western China since Han Dynasty.
Day 3
After breakfast, visit the Grape Valley and the Mountain of Flames. The mountain is the hottest place of China, with a temperature up to 48 degrees. Then visit the underground water conservancy project-----Karez. In the afternoon, return to Urumqi by bus.
Day 4
Go to Tianchi Lake in the morning and visit the beautiful landscape of this famous lake. Then appreciate the Bogeda Peak in distance, which is the second highest of Tianshan Mountains.
Day 5
Enjoy the urban sceneries of Urumqi, and visit the local big market------bazaar. Afterwards, return to Guangzhou by plane.
