Detailed itinerary
Day 1 Shanghai- Lhasa
Gather in Shanghai and then take train T163 to Lhasa from the Qinghai- Tibet railway.
Day 2 on the train
Along the way, appreciate the unique Qinghai- Tibet Plateau and the beautiful sightseeing along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The train will snake away through the Tanggula Mountains and Tanggula River which is the highest in the Qinghai-Tibet line. The train will pass across Hoh Xil and you can enjoy the precious Tibetan antelope, Kunlun Mountains and Kunlun Holy Springs.
Day 3 Lhasa
After arrival in Lhasa at night, register in the hotel and adapt to the plateau environment.
Day 4 Lhasa
After breakfast, go to the world highest palace and the world heritage- Potala Palace. In the afternoon, go to visit the Jokhang Temple and enjoy free shopping in Bakhor Street.
Day 5 Lhasa /Yangbajing /Namtso
Go to enjoy the world famous Yangbajing Geothermal Scenic Spots and appreciate the fascinating sightseeing of the North Tibet Grassland. Overlook the Tanggula Mountains and can pay to enjoy the hot spring. After that, have a visit to the heavenly lake- Namtso appreciatinf the beautiful sightseeing.
Day 6 Lhasa –Shigatse
After breakfast, drive to the Cambala Mountains and enjoy one of the 3 holy lakes in Tibet –Yamzhog Yumco Lake. Then lead to Jiangzi with going through Karola Glacier and visit the Palkor Chode (self-service). After that, go to Shigatse- the capital city of Tsang.
Day 7 Shigatse- Lhasa
After breakfast, go to visit the famous temple- Tashilhunpo Monastery and Panchen Tower which was built in 1447. There is the world largest bronze of Jiangpa Buddha with the height of 28 meters. After lunch, go back to Lhasa.
Day 8 Lhasa –Hangzhou
Take an air to return Hangzhou with passing Chengdu or Chongqing. Then you will be free.

Note:
1. According to the situation, the company will change the tour route without reducing the scenic spots.
2. Due to the peculiar climate, the traveling car will not use the air-conditioner.
3. If the visitors can’t go to the Namtso Lake, the tour route will change to visit Yangbajing and enjoy free activities in Lhasa.
4. The gate tickets of hot spring in Yangbajing and the gate tickets of Palkor Chode are not included.
5. The visitors own a piece of Rhodiola Yunnanensis per person, and a glass of drinking water and 2 bags of Oxygen.
