Siping City Shaolin Martial Arts Academy was initiated in 1995 by Shi Xingkuo who is the 32nd disciple of Shao Lin Monk. It is the only martial arts school in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning provinces which opens to foreigners. It has nurtured about 2,000 foreigners from over 50 countries such as America, German, Norway, Italy, Greece, South Africa, Denmark, Argentina, etc.
School Strength
Located in the artistic Ye He Ancient Castle, Siping City Shaolin Martial Arts Academy is an ideal place to study with a graceful environment. It boasts a floorage of 60,000 square meters and possesses a 9,800-square-meter antique complex building, a building which can accommodate over 500 people, a 500-square-meter canteen, a 2,000-square-meter interior practicing hall and an approximately 1,000-square-meter practicing field in forest.
The martial arts academy hires experienced coaches from Henan Shaolin Temple which is named the region of martial arts and other outstanding coaches who ever won medals in national games. At the same time, it built cooperation with other martial arts associations abroad and set up branches in America, Holland, Australia and other countries. Furthermore, it built cooperation with Far-Eastern National University so that they visit each other regularly and dispatch graduates to teach abroad to share cultural experience of martial arts. For a decade, the school has gradually fashioned its own teaching ideas and perfect training approaches.
Teaching Programs
It currently has traditional Tao Lu, Shaolin 72 Stunts, free combat, traditional Shaolin Qigong, Shaolin hard Qigong, Yi Jijing, and Ba Duan Jin.
Its boxing courses cover Chen-style Tai Chi, Yang-style Tai Chi, Wudang Kung Fu, Xingyi boxing, Bugua boxing, Baji boxing, and Dacheng boxing.
The traditional martial arts courses cover all essence of martial arts and impart martial arts theories containing Shaolin broadsword, Shaolin spear, Shaolin cudgel, Pu sword, Damo monk’s staff, Shaolin swoard, contemporary boxing, etc. Besides, the academy opens other courses with no charge like traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
