Introduction
The British School of Beijing (BSB) was established in 2003, it is a non-profit, independent organization established to provide British education to the expatriate community of Beijing. It is also a member of King's Group, an independent group of schools in Europe and Asia established in 1969.
 
The school is also an affiliate member of COBISEC (Council of British Independent Schools in the European Community), the British Schools Development Board (BSDB) and a founder member of EAABIS (East Asian Association of British International Schools), organizations aimed at ensuring high standards of education among its members.
 
School Strength
The British School of Beijing policy employs teachers with outstanding professional credentials from the UK with relevant experience in delivering the British National Curriculum. On occasion, the school will also employ outstanding teachers with other internationally recognized qualifications and British curriculum experience.
 
A major strength of the school is its rich cultural mix, with students from many different countries. Children learn to make friends and mix with people from a range of countries and cultural backgrounds.

The British School of Beijing follows the English National Curriculum as developed by the British Government. It is a standardized program and is delivered here in Beijing in the same way as any British School worldwide.
