Xuzhou Medical University (XZMU) has set up the “The Principal Foundation” for international students in order to promote the development of higher education of international students. This scholarship will be provided to those excellent overseas students or scholars to undertake full time study. Now the scholarship is provided for students who are qualified and excellent to apply for 3-5 years doctor program(with master degree), or 6-8 years successive master-doctor program, or 3-4 years master program(with bachelor degree) in Xuzhou Medical University.
CATEGORIES OF APPLICANTS:
Qualified and Excellent foreign students who wish to undertake full time study inpostgraduate programs in Xuzhou Medical University.
CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good mental and physical health.
2. Education background and age limit:
Applicants musthave the relevant medical background in Bachelor or Master’s study, andmeet all the requirements of the current year admission notice.
Applicants for 6-8 years successive master-doctor program & 3-4 years master programmust have a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 30.
Applicants for 3-5 years doctoralprogram must have a master's degree and be under the age of 35.
3. Applicants must agree to obey the relevant laws of the China and regulations of the university.
4. Applicants must have a good academic record.
5. Applicants cannot be recipients of other scholarships offered by government, university or other organizations at the same time.
CONDITIONS OF SCHOLARSHIP
1. Tuition fee: The President Fund Scholarship covers tuition fee for
(1) 3-5 years doctor program
(2) 6-8 years successive master-doctor program
(3) 3-4 years Master program
2. Living allowance: The President Fund Scholarship provides for
(1) 3-5 years doctor program
(2) 6-8 years successive master-doctor program
3-5 years doctor program:
CNY 1000 (in the first two years),
CNY 1500 (in the third year till graduation)
CNY 12000 as bonus to those who successfully graduate with the diploma and the relevant degree of doctoral study
6-8 years successive master-doctor program:
CNY 1000 (in the first two years),
CNY 1500 (in the third year till graduation)
CNY 12000 as bonus to those who successfully graduate with the diploma and the relevant degree of master study and move to doctoral study
Note:
1) Scholarship recipients will be granted the living allowance based on tutor’s and school’s evaluation accordingly after they finish the new student registration procedures and formally start their study with monthly evaluation records.
2) If the recipients quit the study or be dismissed due to personal reasons, the scholarship of living allowance issued in the past shall be returned before leaving school.
3) Students shall pay admission deposit after receiving E-offer and the deposit will be offset as fees he/she needs to pay after registration in XZMU.
