The Great Wall, symbolizing China’s ancient civilization, is always the No.1 place to visit in Beijing. It’s known as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Construction of the wall first began more than 2500 years ago with the total length of over 6000 kilometers. Badaling Great Wall, the best preserved part of Wall was listed by UNESCO as one of the World Heritages in 1987.
 
Itinerary
Our professional English speaking tour guide will meet you at your hotel between 7:30-8:00am, and then drive to Badaling Great Wall (60 miles away from downtown). Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. It lies 100 KM away at the northwest of Beijing. If you want to get to the highest point and have a bird eye’s view of this section of the great wall, cable car is a good choice (optional). Then drive to restaurant nearby the Ming Tombs to have a Chinese lunch.
 
After lunch, about 20 minutes driving to the Ming Tombs area and visit the most famous emperor's mausoleum of Ming Dynasty with 500 years history-Chang Tomb. (1 hour).
 
When trip is over, drive you back to your hotel at about 5:30-6:00pm.
