The mysterious and saint land of Tibet is the dream place of many people. On this magic territory, there are too many stunning sceneries and stories waiting for our discoveries. In this discovery tour of Tibet, there will be something different with the common Tibet we see. It’s more mysterious, challenging and charming.
 
Day 1 Arrival by train or air
Transfer to Lhasa and check in hotel, rest for acclimatization. Upon your arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport or Lhasa Newwu Train Station, your Tibetan local guide and driver will pick you up with your name sign, and then they will transfer you to Lhasa city safely. Accommodation: 3 stars standard and centrally located hotel.
 
Day 2 Lhasa   
Today what we will visit in Lhasa is the vital Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple with her vicinities. Potala Palace is Lhasa's most important landmark and she a wonder of Eastern architecture. Your first site of this massive structure will be a magical moment which will be remembered for your rest life time. It has been a palace since the fifth or sixth century and was once the home to the Dalai Lama. We will also be given the opportunity to shop in Barkor Bazaar.
 
Day 3 Lhasa    
After breakfasts in hotel, we will drive to west Lhasa city section (about 11km) and give a visit to the Drepung Monastery, which was once the world's largest monastery. Housing 10,000 monks, Drepung monastery lies hidden in rocky ridges just beyond the city.
 
In the afternoon, the site we will visit is Sera Monastery, a fifteenth century sprawl of golden roofs and whitewashed walls. This well preserved monastery is located just a few miles North of Lhasa and is home to several hundred monks.
 
Day 4 Lhasa-Damxung County-Lake Nam-Tso-Lhasa 
To experience the natural views of Tibet is a dream of many tourists. This one day roundtrip tour will offer you great opportunity to see the real Tibet. You will see the great mountains, huge grasslands, local nomads, sheep, yaks, goats, horses, most importantly; you will feel the pure huge Lake-Nam-Tso, which is 4718m high. It is the second-largest saltwater lake in China, the first being Koko Nor (Qinghai-Lake) in Qinghai province.
 
Day 5 Lhasa-Shigatse
Around 8:30 am, we will leave Lhasa for Shigatse which is the second largest city of Tibet. We are going to spend around 3-4 hours driving smoothly along this well paved China-Nepal Highway (Lhasa-Shigatse section, 280km). Today we will give visit to Tashilhunpo Monastery and Shigatse local free market.
 
Day 6 Shigatse
After early breakfast in Shigatse, we will drive onward to Rongphu Monastery, near Everest Base Camp. It is 350 km touch drive, but our guide and driver will take good care of you along this high altitude road, you have lots of chances to stop wherever to shoot pictures of mountains, rivers, all the landscape is tremendous.
 
Day 7 Rongbuk-Everest Base Camp-Shigatse   
We will get up early for Everest sunrise pictures in Rongphu and trek 8 km or take horse carriages to Everest Base Camp, have close visit to Mt. Everest, in the middle afternoon (around 3-4 pm, we drive back to Shigatse city where w e can have better hotel accommodation.
 
Day 8 Shigatse-Gyantse-Lake Yamdrok Tso-Lhasa  
After early breakfasts in this second largest city, we take an easy drive of 90 km for Gyangtse where will visit Pelkhor Choed Monastery and Kumbum Pagoda, after lunch in this town, we will drive along the southern Lhasa-Shigatse natural view routing to visit the Lake of Yamdrok Tso. Around 6 pm, we will get back to Lhasa.
 
Day 9 Lhasa
Your private Tibetan driver and the guide will see you off to airport or train station, your Tibet tour with Tibet trip ends.
