Day 1 Xining--Taer Monastery--Qinghai Lake--Caka
In today’s activities, you will visit the famous Xining Guandong Mosque, the Taer Monastery, which is famous for its three top artistic treasuries, and the most beautiful lake in China—Qinghai Lake.
Day 2 Caka--Dulan--Gamud
Today you will go into the mysterious Qaidam Basin and visit the famous Caka Salt Lake.
Day 3 Gamud--Hoh xil
Gamud is the starting point of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Phase 2. You will pass the Hohxil Nature reserve, and visit the Mt. Kunlun.
Day 4 Gamud--Dunhuang
You will visit the wonderful scenery—Wanzhang Salt Bridge, which was built on the salt Lake. Then and then leave for Dunhuang.
Day 5 Dunhuang
You will visit the Mogao Grottoes, a shrine of Buddhist art treasures, 25 km (15.5miles) from downtown Dunhuang on the eastern slope of Mingsha Shan (Mount Echoing Sand). Later you will visit the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring.
Day 6 Dunhuang--Jiayuguan Pass
You will visit the famous Jiayuanguan Pass of Great Wall.
Day 7 Jiayunguan Pass--Xining
You will visit the largest underground gallery--Wei-Jin Tomb Group, and other famous scenic spots for visit include Jiuquan Park and Wooden Tower in Zhangye city.
Day 8 Departure
Return to Xining and the whole tour ends.
