Yalong Bay centers on a crescent-shaped beach with its beach length of 2 times than that of Hawaii. The sea off the beach is so clear that visibility can reach almost eight meters, making it ideal for divers attracted to the nearby coral reef. Those who prefer lounging by the pool to swimming in the sea will find pools of every size in the international resorts now overlooking the beach. More resorts are planned like Sheraton, Shangri-La, and Hyatt.
 
“No sea deserves a look other than Sanya, no bay deserves a true bay except Yalong”. Yalong Bay is arguably Hainan's best beach and definitely the most pristine. 7km of white sand stretches along beautifully clean blue water here, backed by palm trees and lush green hills. This is a protected marine reserve and commercial fishing is forbidden here, keeping the water very clean and lovely for swimming.
 
Facilities are also good here. This great beach is adjacent to shops, restaurants and a museum with a large collection of sea shells. There is also a charming outdoor butterfly garden with a mountain hiking trail and some great walks. Hot springs, numerous golf courses and submarine cruises are also offered.
 
In addition to sunshine, beaches, water ports and golf, Yalong Bay is graced with odd rocks, grotesque shoals and idyllic views. For ventures of rock climbing and hiking among a wide selection of activities and attractions, within the bay there are 5 islands with Boar Island spots in the centerf, Dongzhou and Xizhou in the south, Dongpai and Xipai in the west, prime locations are Jinmu Cape and Yalong Cape. The other Attractions in Yalong Bay include the Central Square, the Sea Shell Museum and Butterfly Valley.

Butterfly Valley
Sanya Butterfly Valley is located near Yalong Bay, the 1000 square meters of Butterfly Valley is filled with vibrant colors butterflies flying around. In the Butterfly valley, an open air flight cage will ensure that visitors are able to interact closely with butterflies. In the large-scale exhibition hall, there are over 2000 kinds of specimens of butterflies and insects on display. The valley also displays some of China's most rare and precious butterflies, including Peking Papilio. Of special note, Hainan Island has the greatest concentration of butterflies in China and is sometimes known as "The Butterfly Kingdom".

Transportation
From Sanya you can board the No.102 Taihe Tourism Bus to Yalong Bay, which will set you back the modest sum of RMB 5. The most convenient way to get there, however, is by taxi, a very comfortable 25-kilometer ride on a paved (concrete) road, and which will set you back the princely sum of RMB 30-50, depending on your point of departure and the precise spot along Yalong Bay where you choose to be dropped off. 
 
Traveling Tips
1. Please take sunbonnet, sunglass, and suntan oil, swimsuit, swimming cap, swimming glass, turkish towel, slipper, etc.
 
2. Please drink little white wine and vinegar When eating seafood.
 
3. Typhoon and rain is centered from June to September.
