In Zhejiang University, the International College offers both long-term (one term or above) and short-term, Non-degree Chinese Language and Culture programs for foreign students from all over the world.
Application Deadlines
Applications for long-term studies are accepted from April 1st to June 15th for autumn term and from October 1st to December 15th for spring term.
Commencement of the Program
The spring term usually starts from late February and the autumn term usually starts from early or middle September.

RMB9, 000/term; RMB18, 000/year
Documents Necessary for Application
1. Application Form for Admission to Zhejiang University
2. A photocopy of passport and a recent photo (white background, 35mm×45mm in size)
3. Remittance receipt of the application fee (RMB 400 Yuan or US$ 50)
Enrollment
After receiving and having the application materials, Zhejiang University will send the Admission Notice, JW 202 form and other relevant documents to the applicants of spring term before January 10th and the applicants of autumn term before July 10th.
Teaching Schedule
Students of Chinese Language and Culture program will be placed into different grades and classes on the basis of how much you have learned before taking the program.
Each term usually lasts for 18 weeks with 20 class hours per week. A series of electives are offered for students to choose from one to three courses according to the students’ interest and Chinese capacity.
