The School of International Business is regarded as one of the youngest schools with abundant vigor and fastest development in Beijing Foreign Studies University. Since its establishment, upon its religious and pragmatic work-style, the School has conducted great progress in the field of training comprehensive talents. It aims to develop itself into a school covering the highest foreign language background in domestic universities and cultivate a number of international management talents dominating in economic globalization.
The faculty of the School has high-level foreign language ability, a strong and solid basic knowledge of economics and management science, and a vigor look. With years’ effort, it has formed a team of comprehensive faculty members who all have Doctoral degree and Master’s degree from domestic or international famous universities. 70% of them have bachelor’s degree from international universities and go abroad for further study and scientific research.
Currently, the School covers a total number of over 1000 full-time students and other dual culture students. It offers 6 majors for Bachelor’s degree including International Economics and Trade, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Management and Information System, and Electronic Commerce. The former 2 majors are Bachelor’s degree for Economics, while the latter 4 majors are Bachelor’s degree for Management. The students have a good command of foreign language which is equal to those major students. They are able to speak fluent foreign language in their specialized communication and academic research.
The School has friendly relationship with China government, enterprises, financial institutes and translational corporations. Meanwhile, it has established a wide and long-term cooperation with universities from US, Canada, Australia, England, etc. It puts great emphasize on the innovation of teaching theories and courses structure whish provides a good learning atmosphere for the students at home and abroad.

Application time
For Chinese Language majors’ applicants, the deadline for applying Bachelor’s degree is Jan 10th for the spring semester, July 10th for the autumn semester. The deadline for dual language applicants is July 10th. The deadline for applying Master’s degree is July 10th.
For Non-Chinese Language majors’ applicants, the deadline for admission is Feb. 28th.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree:
Above 18 years old, senior high school graduate, HSK3 certificate (Chinese Language Major) /HSK6 certificate (Non-Chinese Language Major), in good health.
For Master’s degree:
Have Bachelor’s degree or above, HSK9 certificate (Chinese Language Major)/ HSK8 certificate (Non-Chinese Language Major), and Qualification Affirmed.
For Doctoral degree:
Have Master’s degree or above, HSK9 certificate (Chinese Language Major)/ HSK8 certificate (Non-Chinese Language Major), and Qualification Affirmed..
