Detailed itinerary
Day 1 Xi’an- Lhasa
In the morning, the guide will meet you and send you to take the totally closed train to Lhasa. (35 hours or so)
Day 2
Appreciate the sightseeing of Qinghai- Tibet Plateau and go through Gomud, Kunlun Mountain, Tuotuo River, Tanggula Mountain, Naqu, Dangxiong. Then reach Lhasa in the evening and lead you to the urban district of Lhasa with the pure air. After that, register in the hotel and rest for adaptation

Day 3
In the morning, go to visit the Potala Palace which is the highest palace architectural building and the world cultural heritage. You can take the panoramic view of the Potala Palace in the square. Later, the guide will lead you to enjoy the Jokhang Temple which is the oldest temple in Lhasa. Then have a visit to Bakhor Street which is the epitome of the whole Lhasa and even the entire Tibet.
Day 4
After breakfast, the guide will accompany you to Namtso- one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and it is the salt lake having the highest altitude. There are snow mountains, grasslands, sheep flocks and Tibetans house ready for you. After that, you will have a chance to enjoy the hot spring and Spa in Yangbajing Geothermal Natural-steam Filed, the price is selt-care.
Day 5
After breakfast, leave Lhasa with passing the Qushui Bridge. Then you will go to enjoy the Gangbala Mountain with over 4880 meters. Later the guild will lead you to enjoy the world largest lake of fresh water- Yamdroktso Lake. Then overlook the Karola Glacier of the 4th century and visit Jiangzi County. After that, go to the Tsang center- Shigatse.
Day 6
After breakfast, take the Honda off-road vehicle to the now county- Xiegel where you can overlook the lofty Everest before arrival. On the way, you are able to buy the best Tibet knifes in Lazi which means the golden peak in Tibet language. Then lead you to Dingri and go to the highest peak of Everest Scenic Area. You get a chance to have a walk at the bottom of the Everest and enjoy the natural scenery.
Day 7
After breakfast, have a visit to Rongbu Temple which was built in 1899. Although it is not the oldest temple, it is the temple with the highest altitude covering peculiar scenery. Then get close to the Everest Base Camp and enjoy the third goddess Jilmo Lungma with a walk at the bottom.
Day 8
In the morning, have a visit to Pancheng’s residence and enjoy the Tashilhunpo Monostery with the largest bronze- Qiangba Buddha. After that, the guide will lead you to Brahmaputra River and return to Lhasa from the China-Nepal highway.
Day 9
Check out the hotel after breakfast, gather at the designated place and go to Lhasa Railway Station. Say farewell to Tibet and take the train to go back to Xi’an.
Day 10
After arrival in Xi’an, you will be free then.
