Day 1
Leave Xi’an for Urumqi by train.
Day 2
Admire landscape along the way.
Day 3 Urumqi-Turfan
Arrive at Urumqi in the morning, then go to Turfan by bus. Along the way, travelers can visit the largest wind power plant------Dabancheng Wind Power Plant; admire the landscape of salty lake. Turfan is the hottest place in Xinjiang, which is called “open-air museum”. Visit the Jiaohe Ancient City. Then visit ancient village of Uygur nationality. Afterwards, visit the Mountains of Flame, Karez and Grape Valley.
Day 4 Urumqi-Tianchi Lake
Go to Tianchi Lake in the moring. Tianchi Lake is the national key tourism attraction, which has a picturesque landscape with snow mountains, pine trees, and crystal clean lakes. Then visit the local big market-----bazaar. In the evening, go to Liuyuan by train.
Day 5 Liuyuan-Dunhuang
In the morning, visit the treasure of Chinese grottos-----Mogao Grottos. In the afternoon, admire the magic scene of Whistling Sand Hill; then visit the Moon Spring. The unique geographical features made the Moon Spring has never go dry for more than 2000 years. In the evening, go to Dunhuang.
Day 6 Dunhuang-Jiayuguan
After breakfast, visit the City gate mansion of the Jiayuguan, which enjoys prestigious fame for being the start point of the Great Wall. In the afternoon, go to Lanzhou by train.
Day 7 Lanzhou-Xining
Arrive at Lanzhou in the morning. Taste the prestigious Lanzhou Noodles. Visit waterwheel, Zhongshan Steel Bridge and Baitai Hill. In the evening, go to Xining by train.
Day 8
After breakfast, go to Qinghai Lake and appreciate the vast water and the picturesque sceneries. Visit the Riyue Mountain, Daotang River.
Day 9
Visit the Kumbum Monastery, which is one of the most important temples of Tibetan Buddhism.
Day 10
Return to Xi’an by train and finish the happy journey.
