Beijing-Chengdu-Leshan-Emeishan-Chengdu-Chongqing-Yangtze River Cruise-Yichang-Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai (14 Days)

Along the river valley, you are drifting through a natural cultural “gallery”: there is the “plank road” built by ancient Chinese people along the sharp cliffs surface high above the roaring waters. The great modern project: the Yangtze River Dam and of course, the marvelous Three Gorges scenery are the highlights of the tour.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 Beijing
On arrival, CITS guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B+L)
Morning: Take a half-day tour to the Forbidden City that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square- the biggest central square in the world.
Afternoon: Continue to visit the famous imperial garden- Summer Palace.
Day 3 Beijing (B+L)
Morning: You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China.
Afternoon: Continue to the Ming Tomb, the mausoleums of Emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
Day 4 Beijing to Chengdu (B+L)
Explore the Temple of Heaven, where ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest. Transfer to take the flight to Chengdu, meet the guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 5 Chengdu to Leshan to Emeishan (B+L)
Morning: Take the private car to Leshan and visit the Leshan Giant Buddha. You will take a short cruise to view this biggest carved stone Buddha in the world.
Afternoon: Continue to Emeishan in the afternoon, transfer to the hotel and have a good rest.
Day 6 Emeishan to Chengdu (B+L)
You will have a full-day guided visit to Mt. Emei by private car. You will take the cable car to the middle of the Mountain and explore the beautiful and mysterious Mt. Emei by foot. Go back to Chengdu in the late afternoon.
Day 7 Chengdu to Chongqing (B+L+D)
Transfer to take the train to Chongqing. After arriving at Chongqing, you will be transferred to the port where you will board the Cruiser for your Pre-cruise night.
Day 8 Cruise (B+L+D)
After breakfast have a shore excursion to Shibaozhai- a gem of Chinese architecture. Then go back to the cruiser and enjoy the splendid view of the Gorges.
Day 9 Cruise (B+L+D)
Today you will witness some of the most fascinating sights in all of China. Enjoy a shore excursion at Shennong Stream. You will continue cruising through the Wu Gorge and the west part of Xiling Gorges.
Day 10 Yichang to Shanghai (B+L)
Pass the east part of Xiling Gorge, which is famous for its strangely shaped cliff faces. Have a shore excursion at the Three Gorges Dam Project. The cruiser will arrive into Yichang port at about 13:00. Then transfer to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Meet the guide and transfer to the hotel in Shanghai.
Day 11 Shanghai (B+L)
Morning: Explore the Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured. Continue to the Yu Garden, which is a famous Chinese classic garden.
Afternoon: Visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, which is the tallest TV tower in Asia and the 3rd tallest in the world.
Day 12 Shanghai (B+L)
Take a full-day visit to Zhujiajiao which is an ancient water town with a history of more than 1700 years. And take a walk along the famous waterfront, the Bund, to fully appreciate this diverse city.
Day 13 Shanghai to Suzhou to Shanghai （B+L）
Morning: Transfer to take the morning train to Suzhou. Meet the guide and begin you tour with visiting the Humble Administrator's Garden, which is followed by a trip to Silk Reeling Factory.
Afternoon: Visit the Tiger Hill, which can be traced back to the founding of Suzhou.
Take the train back to Shanghai. Meet the guide and transfer to the hotel in Shanghai.
Day 14 Shanghai (B)
Transfer to take the departure flight, or alternatively extend your stay.
