Requirements for Candidates
Duration of Contract: from Sept. 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009
Teaching Hours:  16 teaching hours per week, there are about 45 students in a class
Teaching Subjects: spoken English, Business English or Writing
Working Experiences: Teaching experiences at school or working experiences
Other Remarks: Foreign appliers should (1) manage their own Serious Disease Insurance and Accident Insurance at home before their coming to China; (2) have their physical check at home and show the result to the school by mail or E-mail; (3) couples will be regarded as the best candidates.

Benefits:

1. Salary: Negotiable. Normally per month(before tax)
￥4500yuan RMB ———￥7000yuan RMB, depends on the foreign teacher’s education degree, teaching or work experience, nationality.
Generally, the teacher who has a bachelor degree but less than 2 years work experience, the salary will be 4500 yuan RMB;
The teacher who has a bachelor degree and more than 2 years teaching experience, the salary will be 4800 yuan RMB;
The teacher who has a bachelor degree and more than 10 years teaching experience, the salary will be 5200 yuan RMB.
The teacher who has a master degree but less than 2 years teaching experience, the salary will be 5500 yuan RMB.
The teacher who has a master degree and more than 2 years teaching experience, the salary will be 5800 yuan RMB.
The teacher who has a doctor degree and more than 2 years teaching experience, the salary will be 6500 yuan RMB.
monthly salary and bonus will be paid for Party B between 24th to 31th of each month.

2. Travel Subsidy: (before tax):  2000 yuan vacation subsidy will be paid separately, the first 1000 yuan (not including tax) will be paid by school before the winter vacation, 2009, another 1000 yuan(not including tax) after deducted the fee for the electricity of June, 2009, then will be paid one day before foreign teacher’s final departure of the school campus after deducted uncollected fees of foreign teacher, such as electricity, telephone and so on.

3. International Air Fair Subsidy:(before tax):
pay once per academic year for foreign teacher by cash,
￥4000yuan RMB-------￥7000yuan RMB, Depends on the countries which the foreign teachers come from; 

4. Cafeteria and food card: Chinese food, school canteen. All the fees paid by foreign teachers.

5. Accommodation: private. An air-conditioned apartment with a study, a bedroom, a sitting room, a washing room, a kitchen, all equipped with necessary electronic facilities, such as air-conditioners, TV set, computer with a printer, telephone for local calls, washing machine, refrigerator, gas oven, temperature heater, disinfector, hot water heater. rent free;
                    Notes: Rent should be charged when one week exceeding the duration of the contract as follows: (1) 180 RMB for the big flat per day; (2) 140 RMB for small flat per day.

6. Holidays: The stated regular Chinese holidays;

7. Traveling: A one or two-day’s free trip in a place of Guangdong Province per academic year;

8. extra teaching hours:￥45 yuan per teaching hour; if there are office hours arranged by Foreign Language Department, school will pay the half of the hours to Party B;

9. physical check in China(Guangzhou) when foreign teacher arrives at school: the fees will be paid by school; But the physical check before come to China should be paid by foreign teachers.

10. residence permit applied in Guangzhou after foreign teacher arrives at school: the fees will be paid by school; But the temporary work permit(visa) applied for entering China before come to China should be done and paid by foreign teachers.

11. Group Accident Insurance in China: 9 months, arranged and paid by school;

12. Others: Free transportation tool to meet and see off foreign teachers at the train station or at the airport when foreign teacher arrives in Guangzhou or leave Guangzhou for home after the contract ends.

Self-paid expenditures:

1. water(40yuan per month) 2. gas 3. local and long-distance telephone calls    4. transportation  in the city  in the daily life   5. electricity
6. income tax (including salary, all the bonus and subsidies, the payment for the extra teaching hours) if the foreign expert’s salary plus the bones and all the other subsidies is over 4800 yuan should pay tax  according to the Chinese taxation law)
7. No medical charges for treatment on the campus but the medical charges out of the school would be born by the foreign teachers themselves.
