School of Management (管理学院)
The School of Management (SM) was founded in 2001, when the faculties in GDUFS were restructured. Now it is the largest school in terms of enrollment and teaching staff.
The School of Management adopts modern ways of teaching such as "case studies" to cultivate talents of management. The School also attaches great importance to scientific research. The teachers have set up 4 scientific research teams and 9 research centers. Their academic theses have been published in national key journals or authoritative periodicals. The graduates are expected to be equipped with advanced specialties and must be good at using foreign languages.
Finally, the School actively develops academic exchanges and cooperation with overseas institutions. It has established relations with Harding University in America and Lakehead University in Canada. Besides, exchanges and collaborations with universities in the United Kingdom and Australia are on the increase and cover more and more fields.
