Day by day Itinerary
Day 1 Guangzhou-Lanzhou-Xining
Leave Guangzhou for Lanzhou by plane. After arrival, go to Xining by bus.
Day 2 Xining-Qinghai Lake
After breakfast, visit the biggest salty lake of China----Qinghai Lake. Appreciate the Riyue Mountain in distance. The beautiful sceneries will be perfect for photographing. Visit Daotang River, which is the only river that flows from east to west in China.
Day 3 Xining-Dunhuang
Visit the Kumbum Monastery in the morning. The monastery in a saint place of Buddhism. Then visit Baita Hill, Yellow River Mother Statue, waterwheel and Zhongshan Steel Bridge respectively. In the evening, go to Dunhuang by train.
Day 4 Dunhuang-Wuwei
Visit the peculiar scenery of the Mingsha Mountain and the Crescent Moon Spring. Travelers can experience the sand skiing and camel-riding. In the afternoon, visit the Mogao Grottos. The grotto is famous for its numerous and precious Buddha and wall paintings. In the afternoon, return to Dunhuang city by bus and appreciate the urban sceneries. In the evening, go to Wuwei by train.
Day 5 Wuwei-Zhongwei
Arrive at Wuwei in the morning and visit the famous Shapotou scenery spot. At Shapotou, the Yellow River flows into the desert and travelers can riding on the camel’s back and appreciate the magnificent sceneries. Then visit the Gaomiao Temple of Zhongwei.
Day 6 Yinchuan
Visit the Shahu Lake. The lake is among the top 35 tourist attractions of China. The lake has white sand, clear water, birds and mountains, which is unique in China. Then visit the Huaxia Western Film Studio.
Day 7 Yinchuan-Guangzhou
Visit the Imperial Tombs. It is called “pyramids of China. In the afternoon, return to Guangzhou by plane and finish the happy journey.
