Pharmaceutical College was founded in 1972. Currently, there are 87 teachers at Pharmaceutical College, in which, 7 are doctoral tutors, 25 are master tutors and 34 are professors or associate professors. They have made great contribution to the continuous development of teaching and scientific research. And they have become the fresh troops of the college’s development.
Currently, Pharmaceutical College offers 7-year undergraduate and master’s course of traditional Chinese medicine. It also offers 7 undergraduate programs, i.e., traditional Chinese pharmacology, pharmaceutical preparation, pharmaceutical engineering, Chinese medicine resources and development, biotechnology, pharmacy, food science and engineering. It has one state-level key discipline (traditional Chinese pharmacology), one provincial-level key discipline (pharmacognostics), one mobile station for the post-doctors, one doctoral program of first-level discipline (traditional Chinese pharmacology), one doctoral program of second-level discipline (pharmacognostics), 2 master programs of first-level discipline and 4 master programs of second-level discipline. In addition, it has 3 state-level high-quality curriculums (traditional Chinese pharmacology, identification of Chinese medicine, pharmacy of Chinese material medica) and 4 provincial-level high-quality curriculums. Besides, it has a third-level laboratory of state administration of traditional Chinese medicine and 4 provincial level key laboratories. The conditions of the teaching and scientific research have reached the advanced level among the domestic universities of the same type.

For international students, the academic year begins in September. The duration for application is from March 1st to June 30th.
