Zhangjiajie-Baofeng Lake-Old Courtyard-Fenghuang (5 days)

Day 1 Nanjing/Zhangjiajie
Take the flight MU 2707 to Zhangjiajie.
Day 2 Fenghuang
In the morning the coach will take you to Fenghuang. Fenghuang town(Phoenix) is an ancient town of historical and cultural significance. Most of the wooden buildings in the town were built by Miao and Han people in Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the ancient architectures have been kept intact, including the primitively simple and tranquil slabastone or flagstone paved streets and the stilted houses with strong local flavours on the river banks. It will undoubtedly leave you a memorable impression.
Day 3 Baofeng Lake
Take a bus back to Zhangjiajie. Then you will visit Baofeng Lake at your own expense. It is a famous tourist attraction which is considered as the jade pool under heaven.
Day 4 Zhangjiajie
You will visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It was recognized as China's first National Forest Park. In 1992, it was officially recognized as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Its unique geographical features and rich biotic resources make it a popular tourist destination for both Chinese citizens and foreigners.
Day 5 Huangshi stockaded village/Nanjing
Visit Huangshi stockaded village. Continue to visit Old Courtyard----where the teleplay “xuesexiangxi” was filmed. Enjoy some free time to do some shopping in the local specialty supermarket. Take the flight MU 2708 back to Nanjing.
