Introduction

During this tour you will visit Potala Palace, the highest palace in the world; Jokhang Temple, a four storeyed building and integrates with the architectural style of Han, Tibetan, India and Nepal into the more embodied of the cosmological view of Buddhism; Barkhor Street, a magical place showing the original outlook of Lhasa; Tashilhunpo Monastery, one of the Six Big Monasteries of Gelugpa (or Yellow Hat Sect) in Tibet and so on.

Day 1
Take Flight SZ4429 from Kunming to Lhasa, after arrival take a bus to the urban district, enjoy the beautiful view of Tibetan villages and Brahmaputra River. Check-in the hotel.

Day 2 (B+L+D)
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.

Day 3 (B+L+D)
After breakfast take a bus to Shigatse to visit Tashilhunpo Monastery.
Accommodation: Shigatse
Day 4 (B+L+D)
After breakfast take a bus to Shigatse, watch one of the three holy lakes in Tibet--- Yamdrok Lake and Karuola Glacier. After arrive at Gyantse, visit Palkor Chode. Then back to Lhasa.

Day 5
After breakfast free for your own leisure. Then take Flight SZ4430 back to Kunming. Journey ends.
