College of Power Engineering in Nanjing Normal University was founded in 1956. The college owns an outstanding faculty group. There are 7 professors, 10 associate professors, 4 senior engineers, 15 teachers with Doctoral degree and 17 teachers with Master’s degree. At present, there are more than 800 undergraduates, more than 52 graduates.
The college offers 3 Bachelor’s programs including Thermal Engineering & Power Engineering, Building Environment & Equipment Engineering, and Environment Engineering; 5 Master’s programs(Supply Heat Engineering, Supply Fuel Engineering, Ventilation Works, Air-conditioner Engineering, Thermal Engineering). Thermal & Power Engineering is the key subject of Ministry of Education.
The college is undertaking more than 50 research projects. Some research projects have been awarded with national and provincial Scientific Advances Awards, international patents and China patents, and some technologies have been commercialized. Annually hundreds of research papers are published in international renowned journals.
The college also devotes considerable efforts to develop international academic exchanges. Since 1990, it has given over 15 invitations to prominent foreign scientists to teach or conduct research, sent 20 students and visiting scholars abroad for advanced study, provided 25 opportunities for persons to go abroad to attend international conferences to present courses or lectures, and to join research programs.

Entry requirements
The students applying for Bachelor’s degree should prepare the high school degree certificate, score report, copy of passport and HSK level 3 or 4 certificate.
For the students applying for Master’s degree, they should prepare the Bachelor’s degree certificate, score report, personal statement in Chinese, 2 recommendation letters from associate professors or above, HSK certificate, copy of passport and published papers.
