The College ofMechanical and Electrical Engineering has four departments as follows: Department of Design Engineering; Department of Mechanical Manufacture and Automation; Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; Department of Aerospace Manufacture and Engineering. Department of Mechanical Manufacture and Automation is a national key course that covers four programs for doctoral degree and four programs for master degree and two post-doctoral exchange centers as listed below.
At present, the College has established several advanced experiment and research centers such as Jiangsu Teaching and Experiment Center of Mechanics and Engineering, Jiangsu Digital Design and Engineering Research Center, Special Processing Center, and two Ministerial Open labs(CAD/CAM). It also has some other research institutes and labs. It admits 600 undergraduate students and 200 graduate students every year.
It has established a collaborative relationship in academic exchange and joint research with universities and institutions in countries and regions. There are a few professors working in international famous academic institute, including becoming the leadership of CTRP、CAPE 、ISEM. Moreover, it has established a wide corporation with so many international universities: Darmstadt University of Technology, Nebraska University, UTC, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Edinburgh University, etc.

Application time:
For Bachelor Degree Students in Aeronautical Engineering:
The Application dates are from March 15th to Sept. 10th.
For Bachelor Degree Students:
The Application dates are from March 15th to August 30th.
For Master and Ph.D. Degree Students:
The Application dates for the spring semester are from September 15th to December 31 of the year prior to enrollment, and for the fall semester, from March 1 to August 10 of the year of enrollment.
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: the applicants should have senior high school certificate or equivalent, in good manners and in good health, under 25 years old and unmarried.
For master’s degree: the applicants should have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in good manners and in good health, under 40 years old and a letter recommended by 2 associate professors or above.
For doctoral degree:the applicants should have Master’s degree or equivalent, in good manners and in good health, under 45 years old and a letter recommended by 2 associate professors or above.
