The College of Liberal Arts has established 5 doctorate programs upon the secondary discipline (literature and art, Chinese philology, Chinese ancient literature, history of specific subjects, and Chinese ancient history) and 11 master programs (literature and art, Chinese philology, Chinese ancient literature, Chinese modern literature, comparative literature and world literature, Chinese classical documents, history of specific subjects, Chinese ancient history, Chinese modern history, history and geography, and historical documents). At present, it has 1 national training base: the “National Training Center of Talents of Fundamental Humanity Disciplines”, 1 post-doctoral station in the Chinese language and literature, 3 provincial key disciplines (literature and art, Chinese philology, history of specific subjects), 3 ministerial key disciplines (literature and art, Chinese philology, classical documents) and 2 research items of “211 project” (Chinese language & literature and overseas education of Chinese culture, Sino-foreign relations and overseas & ethnic Chinese).
