Kanas-Heavenly Lake-Turpan (7 days)
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 Shanghai to Urumchi
Travel from Shanghai to Urumchi by air, you will be picked up at the airport and then live in hotel.
Day 2 Urumchi to Heavenly lake to Buerjin
You will leave for the Heavenly Lake (Tianchi) and enjoy the celestial and beautiful scenery there in the morning, then go to Buerjin by bus and live in the hotel.
Day 3 Buerjin to Kanas
Leave for Kanas after breakfast, you will witness the gorgeous scenery of the attractive Kanas valley on your way: the crouching dragon bay, the moon bay, bay of the immortals, duck pond bay. After luncheon, you could appreciate the natural scenery of the Kanas lake to the top of your bent. There will be a needfire party in the evening which you can take part in voluntarily.
Day 4 Kanas to Buerjin
You will ascend to see the fishing gloriette and have another chance to enjoy the beauty of Kanas Lake. On your way back to Buerjin you can visit the mineral exhibition center of Xinjiang then live in hotel in Buerjin.
Day 5 Buerjin to Urumqi
Return to Urumqi along the national roadway 217. You will pass by the Devil city and witness the unbelievable creativity of the nature. You can also visit the international bazaar and some jade craftwork shop after you have arrived at Urumchi.
Day 6 Urumchi to Turpan
A one day trip to Turpan will start after breakfast. You will pass by the wind force power plant. There are other spots such as the mountain of flame, the old city of river Jiao, the well of Kaner, the ditch of grape and so forth. After the trip finished, the group will return to Urumchi.
Day 7 Urumchi to Shanghai
You can stroll around casually in the morning and then return to Shanghai by plane in the afternoon. A happy ending of a delightful trip.

Reception standard
Traffic: double flights out and home (aero insurance not included, please inquire about the flight timetable from civil aviation sections).
Accommodation: standard room of 3 star (or coordinative) hotel.
Food: includes 6 breakfasts and 11 dinners.
Tour guide: local full-time guide.
Ticket of the scenery spot: includes the first ticket of the scenery spot and the interzone traffic expense between Heavenly Lake and Kanas. (Consumption of other activities is not included)
Special notes
1. Starting date: please sign up at least 5 days before the starting date.
2. CYTS will not afford full-time company service, local full-time guide will take charge of it. One group could merge with another.
3. CYTS has the rights to adjust the routing (the number of scenery spots will remain the same) or cancel the former travel plan according to traffic, climate, local reception capacity and other factors.
4. The protection of tourist’s legal rights will be implemented according to <The tentative standard on the compensation of the tourism agencies’ quality caution money> issued by national travel bureau.
5. Please take the valid ID card or travel certificates with you.
6. Be careful in consuming. CYTS recommends that you’d better ask for the invoice in trade.
