The School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) was founded in 1989.
Now there are three departments, namely, the department of Information Management and Decision Sciences, the department of Management Sciences, and the department of Statistics and Finance. Research institutes under it are: the institute of Digital Management, the institute of Information and Decision Making, the center of Statistical Consultation, the laboratory of Electronic Commerce, the Center for MBA/MPA education.
The School of Management has a team of high capable teaching and research faculty staff. Among 152 professors (full, associate and assistant), there is one Chinese academician, one Yangtze Plan lecture scholar, 15 doctoral student advisors, and over 77 professors and associate professors. The school has engaged a few dozens of well known foreign and domestic scholars, experts and managers as its adjunct professors. They bridge the school’s activities to social needs and provide more opportunities to students’ research and practices.
The school offers three doctoral degrees, the Management Science and Engineering, Financial Engineering and the Probability and Statistics. The later has been named as national key discipline since 2004. It has also the rights to confer 9 master degrees in: Management Science and Engineering, Business Intelligence, Probability and Statistics, Financial Engineering, Enterprise Management, Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration (MPA), and Logistics Management. The bachelor degrees are in: Information Management and System, Management Science and Engineering, Finance and Statistics.
The school has entered into cooperation and collaboration with a fine group of institutions in North America, Australia, Germany, Japan, Singapore, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan areas as well as China. Among them are: The Indian National Institute of Management, University of Osnabruck, Graduate School of Innovation Management of Tokyo University of Technology.

Application time
The application time for foreign students is from March to June.
Requirements for Application
For the students, they must be under 30 years old. Besides, some materials should be prepared, including the resume, exam record, transcript and other related certificates and documents.
