Student Associations
The students’ organizations of institutions of higher learning are the masses organizations for self-education, self-management and self-service. They are also the most important and effective medium for carrying out Quality education and promoting the development of campus culture , improving the over-all qualities of students and helping them to better adapt themselves to the society, thus consciously making themselves the talents needed by the society. They are also the effective way to unite the students in the ideological and political education, which is an important extension of the class-based and grade-based ideological and political education. For years, we have attached great importance to the construction and development of the students’ organizations. For that purpose, the school CPC committee issued the document of Decision on Promoting and Improving Student’s Organizations, elaborating on the guidelines, strategies and supporting system . It further stimulated the development of students’ organizations on campus. As a result, the total number of the organizations has come to 62, with a total of 4,500 registered members, among which are 21 academic and technical ones, 14 of literature and fine arts,14 of sports and 13 of common good and social practice.
