Polytechnic University of Milan visited Xi’an Jiaotong University and held academic seminar

On 8th October, Italian Politechnico di Milano Department of Energy Science director Prof. Ennio Macchi and the other two paid a visit to Xi 'an Jiaotong University - Hong Kong University of Technology College of sustainable development, and carried out seminar on the topic of Clean Coal Technologies with many professors of Xian Jiaotong University School of Medical Engineering. It was the first face to face academic talks and communication since College of Sustainable Eevelopment was prepared

A welcome speech was give by Prof. Wu Jingshen, chairman of College of Sustainable Eevelopment Preparatory Committee and president of School of Chemical Engineering. The Professors of two parties gave 20 minutes’ academic reports separately, introduced about scientifc research conditions and achievenment of their own. Director Ennio Macchi of Politechnico di Milano Department of Energy Science introduced about the scientific research activities in field of energy, professor Li Yun from Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Chemical Engineering introduced about the research on coal gasification and cogeneration system,  integrated transfer and equipment analysis of thecarbonificated industry pressure energy and so on scientific research conditions, professor of both universities carried out a heated discussion on content of the report, enhanced mutual understanding.
