Day 1 Beijing/Taiyuan
In the evening, Take the train No 1163 (semi-cushioned berths) to Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province
Day 2 Qiao’s Grand Courtyard/Pingyao City
Morning the coach will take you to Qi County. There you will explore the famous Qiao’s Grand Courtyard, which is considered as a model of Chinese ancient dwelling. Then Visit the Pingyao City-----one of the most famous four old cities in China, there you will visit the money exchange shop of Jin Province (the earliest bank), the Ming and Qing old street (the Wall Street of ancient China) and the old circumvallation of Ming Dynasty. On the way back to Taiyuan, you can have a visit to the local specialty supermarket. (L)
Day 3 Taiyuan/Beijing
Have several free hours in the Taiyuan City after breakfast. Transfer to take the departure train K612 at noon. (B)
