Sichuan China International Travel Service (L-SC-GJ00001) is one of the first batches that became the member of Board in Chinese International Travel Group. It once was China International Tourist Service Chengdu Branch which was founded in 1978. It is one of the earliest companies that can receive tourists from foreign countries, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. And it also is the earliest company that can receive outbound tour. Before 2003, the company is the only organization that was entitled to organize the overseas travel.
Through 24 years’ development, CITS-SC has developed into a backbone enterprise of Sichuan’s travel industry, and kept the pivotal status in Sichuan travel agency profession. The total assets of the company has reached one hundred million Yuan, the staff number has increased to 400. Its subordinate companies include: The outbound traveling company, the domestic traveling company, the ticket clerk company, the message center, the reception center; while the subsidiary companies include: Sichuan overseas traveling Limited company, China Tourist service Company Sichuan Provincial office, Sichuan China International Travel Service traveling Car Company, and Sichuan white fox aviation traveling aviation service Limited company.
CITS-SC gathered a team of highly-qualified staff with various experiences, professional dedication and the sense of responsibility. A large quantities of them are engaged in international and domestic traveling service or the graduates of specialized colleges and universities, they are familiar with foreign languages, well-trained and experienced. Among them, there are 20 senior tour guides, 30 intermediate tour guides and 94 specialized outbound leaders. The key job criterions of the staff is providing satisfying, quick, and appropriate service to all customers.
The company has successively joined PATA (the Pacific Ocean Asia Travel Association), IATA (the International Air Transport Association) and other International organizations. At present it already has registration in more than 60 countries and cities all over the world. In the China Travel Service industry we always maintain the leading status. In 2005, the Sichuan China International Travel Service became the only travel agency that can get visa of ADS from Britain Embassy.
